Rapper and producer and one of the most innovative forces in the rap game, Pi’erre Bourne, shares the video for his track “Feds” today – watch HERE. The multicolored and nostalgic video game inspired visual was shot by Pi’erre and his friends while in Japan working on Kanye West’s album Jesus Is King last summer.
Last year the coveted artist released his long-awaited and major-label debut, The Life of Pi’erre 4, on SossHouse/ Interscope Records – he wrote , produced, engineered, and arranged the album in its entirety. The sixteen-track project went on to garner recognition from Paper Magazine (“Each song flows seamlessly into the next”), Fader, Complex, Pitchfork, Hypebeast (“unapologetically show[s] off his well-established sound backed by spaced-out synths and rich auto-tune”) and more; it also went on to chart on the Billboard 200 Chart. In support of TLOP 4 Pi’erre went on a tour at the beginning of the year across Europe and most recently he’s amassed major success working on Lil Uzi Vert’s critically acclaimed album, Eternal Atake (“Bean (Kobe) ft. Chief Keef,” “Yessirskiii,” “Wassup,” “Money Spread ft Young Thug”). The album (which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and landed on the Hot 100 chart) led Pi’erre to top Billboard’s Hot 100 Producer Charts and continue to receive praise from Pitchfork who recently said “You can’t have a conversation about the best rap producers of the last few years without mentioning Pi’erre Bourne.”
