Polo Tha God – Holy Water @lothagod

Polo Tha God’s “Holy Water” is an album filled with raw emotion, unique lyricism and flow. Over the course of 10 songs, Lo goes through a series of lyrical exercise and flow switching over trap influenced instrumentation. The Chicago native uses this album to embody to the attitude and image of his alter ego – Holy Water Lo.

Hailing from Chicago, IL, Polo Tha God is not your average rapper. In spite of all the odds, he managed to overcome his humble roots growing up in the projects, rising above the situation thanks to his motivation and talent, even when things got tough out on the streets. Eventually, Polo came to appreciate the perks of street hustling, as a lifestyle and as a way to finance his music. Even when he had the opportunity to go to college, things didn’t change, and in his own words he felt like “living a double life”.

This charismatic artist set out to hit the music scene with a unique approach to his blend of hip-hop. Having been writing rhymes since third grade, he had a lot of time to practice and achieve excellent results, never losing sight of his love for hip-hop.

Always embodying the spirit of the ultimate hustler, Polo is fully committed to his lifestyle: “I’ll die trying to get a better life”, he boldly admitted.

With such a strong personal approach, Polo is all about connecting with listeners through high-energy release, uplifting melodies, and a thought-provoking lyrical flow that highlights his great storytelling skills, not unlike influential performers such as Master P, DMX, Tupac or Lil Wayne, just to mention but a few.

Don’t miss his new and old releases, such as “Thru Tha Smoke” and “Holy Water”. Stay tuned for more and let the music tell you the rest of this story.
